Fishing around Longreach

I will be up around Longreach in June and I was wanting to know if there is a chance of catching a fish or three.

Hi Stretch,

Lived in Longreach for awhile if you don't mind catching yellowbelly theres a mullion out there head towards Winton as you cross over the Thompson River bridge there is a dirt track on your right take this down as far as you can drive you might then have to walk a few hundred metres look for any over hanging trees or anything laying in the water any type of bankside cover cast small Celtas at these areas and I am sure you will get a few, hope this helps.
