Hey fellas
After some hints on your favourtie jungle perch and tarpon lures. Whether they be Hardbodies or Plastics, whatever has worked for you over the years. Aswell as the sizes or jig head weights etc. I will be targetting them in different stretches of a freshwater creek up here in Cairns. Cheers blokes.
Rapala CD3 (in clear rocky bottom), Rapala F5 in reeds, and
Rebel Teeny wee pop-R in the rapids. The thing with freshwater tarpon and JPs is that they generally aren't picky. The important thing is getting a cast to them without spooking. If you want some good action with these species head to Tully gorge and the rivers around Innisfail. In particular the Russell and South Johnstone. Sooties are a pretty good by-catch .
