jonno123 i posted to your other this one is on the lachlan it gets very dry in times of drought however ther are still a few holes that hold reasonable spring fed water resident cod can be found in these holes but acess is limited to many hours of walking i am talking about water above wyangla dam due to its inacsesability and without good local knowlage it is not advised to try and get in this area i know about as it it what i call home from the dam down stream a few ks is good for trout as the wate is toooooo cold for natives past cowra the river becomes much likethe bidgee it runs through farmland and begins to slow down and starts to dirty up and warm up as it has been a long time since i have been on this part of the river i cannot honestly tell you how it fishes now days :GOODOO
