Lake Samsonvale Permits?????

I'm sure there is heaps of previous info on the subject on this site but I've been unable to find it.

My question is....

Does the Pine Rivers Fish Management Association (those that manage the fishing permits for Lake Samsonvale/North Pine Dam) have either a web site, email or telephone number that you can call to enquire about obtaining a fishing permit???

All I can find is a PO Box number.

I'm interested in checking out the possibility of getting a license, as the Dam is quite close to where I'll soon be living.

Would appreciate any advice thanks?

Yep, that bass came from Samsonvale.

Yep! Rang them yesterday and was advised that they were meeting last night. So went there last night and signed up and within 30 minutes walked away a new license holder (No. 108). Might pop out for a quick reccy on Saturday.

You're right. Quite a nice bunch of fellas. Mal the Treasurer processed me and gave me a good insight on the whole deal. He also introduced me to a few of the members.

I'm looking forward to some close-by sweetwater fishing.

Yep, will definitely be posting pics of any decent catches.

One of the chaps I met the other night mentioned that there were quite a few Tilapia in there at the moment. From my experience at Big W, I expect to see a few of these going for my pink Squidgies again. Fingers cross for some Bass or Yella's though. One of the chaps also mentioned that there were quite a few Redclaw there as well, which the Yella's quite like. So time will tell.
