koombooloomba dam
I am heading up to koombooloomba dam in the near future. I have never been there before, what should I expect apart from the freezing cold? Are any particular parts of the dam better than any other? Would a canoe or tinny be better? ( both fitted with electrics ). I am chasing sooties and barra is they are on the bite.
cheers
d
PS nailed a nice 20lb barra on sunday night in tinaroo, small, but fun. pictures still to come.

Re: koombooloomba dam
Max,
I paid a visit to K'b'loomba in march while I was up there on holidays, it's a long dirt road in there and at the time was full of pot holes, I've got to say that it was the clearest water I have ever seen in an impoundment. I only spent about 3/4 hr casting lures from the bank for no result, so I can't help you with the rest of your question.
Good luck
