    Re: LAKE BORUMBA

I live at Morayfield and it takes me exactly 1hr and 10minuters, which is quite comfortable. Haven't heard too many reports from there, however as the weather warms up the saratogas warm up aswell.
Make sure that you put a report on how you went mate, as I am dying too get back there. The fish that you see on the left is from there.

Went up there a couple a weeks ago and it was a shut down. A cabin or a van only cost $45 per night at the Dear farm. And he got real good Venison pies.....then there is the bar maid at Imbil if you feel lonly....
    Feel like a Kilkenny

I bet that the wind was howling like mad when Windmonger Kilkenny arrived on the scene !!!

If anyone wants to go to Borumba and not get buffetted by the wind, find out when Kilkenny is heading there and head in the opposite direction #

OK, so after a brew or two I do get a bit windy, It is the secondary fermentation giving me wind trouble....
    And too much Kilkenny

Fished Borumba 2 weeks ago, the fish were very quiet until around 4.00pm them picked up 35 bass ranging fron 34 to 46cm to the fork. All caught by working the edges with rattling spots.

    Re: LAKE BORUMBA

Not the grass banks, Alot of the small bays with wooded banks. With the water up so high there is massive amounts of structure submerged. Just casting right in close and then a slow rolling retrieve.
