what would work better lure or bait

for catching bass at boondooma i've used worms before and small red claw but havn't i haven't fish boondooma before.
I would love for someone to fill me in on what it is like before i go out at Xmas .

Only fished it once and Purple Deep divers were the only lures catching fish. Was using a RMG Poltergeist 50 - Deep Purple colour. If you ring the shop at Boondoomba Dam they will probably give you the latest gossip on lures and baits.

When I was there Killalure Pink colour,I had this other
generic brand kicking around in the box, also pink,it worked quite well
but had to get them down deep 12m approx, down where the "stuart river
offtake around the bouy and weed beds??
