From what I have heard from the DPI, the original stocking was in 2000, and the first legal sized fish was caught two years later. That's about all that I have heard, but it generally seems like survival and growth are good.
There was a theory being kicked about that all of the newly stocked barras were becomming food for the big snodgers that lurk in the depths, but it seems that at least a few of the jacks have escaped their clutches.
