    brisy bass

my preference for poppers is an arboghast "hula" popper.
I try and throw em it as high as possible and let it have a good splashdown...wait till the ripples subside before giving a couple of twitches.....subtle twitches is the go..........if a bassy is home...most times you will be hit before the second twitch......
And constant pauses in your retrieve I find work best.
And anywhere there is likely holding station or shadows.
Over hanging branches are good but look for the shadows.

And on clear days early morning or late afternoon is best, sometimes the window is only small, but if it is overcast/hazy/rainy day then sometimes they don't stop.

As with most things fishing it is about technique and once you have it the bass will love you for it.. But subltey plus the odd loud splash is a technique that works for me.

    Cheers
