Would that be on the creek system that is below Moogerah Dam?
If so I'm sure there would be some Bass out there.

I fished from the bank on the creek that runs out of moogerah maybe 20 km down stream years ago, we did catch a few.

Now I'm winding back the clock!
Fished there a fair bit as a kid & occasionally as a big kid too!
Have caught the odd bass on both the downstream & upstream side of the weir.

When the weir is running over (it should have been with the storms last week) the spangled perch are there by the thousand trying to leap up the weir wall. The height is only about a foot or so too high for them so they just keep coming back for more, the odd one does make it up & over.
A nice little water hole on the top side. A good spot to put a canoe/yakak in for a paddle & a fish. Dont know how bass get above the weir as they cant get up the weir (unless its a major flood) and there's no stocking of them upstream in that creek apart from Moogerah. Pretty rare that any bass would survive going through the outlet pipes I'd recon.
