Hire boats would make life easier for guys like you who would have to store it somewhere while your off grunter huntin. The less gear you take the less there is to clean up when you get home. Where do you hunt?

well today i fished coolmunda from the bank (rock wall) from about 3 till 7.30 and managed 3 yellas from 36-44cm, a 45cm cod which was returned, and 4 or 5 spangled perch (also returned), 1 of the yellas was on a worm as were most of the spangled perch, the rest of the fish were on shrimp.
Had to leave because the mossies were eating us alive, it wasn't unusual to see up to 5 mossies on ya leg at once > . All in all a good relaxing day was had

Some o them pricks've got clearance lights and they certainly know how to f#!k up a good trip. Sounds like it's a good idea to bring along a shrimp trap though.

I fished Pindari on the weekend 22nd. Bait was the go with the best session giving 14 yellas (released). The area near the island and east from there was working best, the fish were hanging deeper 5m-7m. Lots of Silvers were also about in the same area mainly on worms. Some yellas were also picked up by others trolling the same area.

A word of caution, it was really warm there and the storms/lightning was amazing!
