softies in the fresh...Burrendong dam

Have been doing a fair bit of fishing at our local dam(burrendong) lately,,up till now have only been using hardbodies..mainly purple or silver smallish lures have been working,,caught quiet a few good size silver perch,,a few yellowbelly,,redfin and suprise suprise,,bloody stinky carp on lures as well..was thinking might give some soft plastics a go,,but just not sure what to get to try,,so,,any sugestions from anybody??technique or any other tips would be great too..

id reccomend for burrendong anything so long as it is a fish pattern with a green body darker strips and a red tail.
