Split Rock Dam

Gday all Im heading to Split Rock in early April and was wondering how is the fishing and how far from the water to the boat Ramp, its been 18months since my last visit so Id appreciate some info before arriving 8)

where's split rock and what can you catch there?

split rock is north west of tamworth closest town being Barraba good for goldens and cods
split rock is sitting at 30% full but from what i hear it is still fishing well but that is comeing from a second hand source as i myself haven't fishing it yet maybe in oct this year
that seems to be the big mounth of that dam #
other dams in the area are Keepit near tamworth
Copeton over near Inverall and Pindari ferther north of Inverall
there are other also in that area but i belive these are the main ones

Split Rock is a great dam to fish for cod and yellas. Its one of my favorite dams to fish. Ive caught cod at all times of the year. Beautifull fish.
30% is about right at the moment
This time Im taking the family and am a little concerned about the boat access and how far the water is from the camp area etc. etc. Ill try Robman like Macca said hope he has been there recently
