    Land based options at teemburra

Ive done a fair bit of fishing from a friends boat at teemburra but now that they dont have one anymore i am looking for some land based spots here. Ive heard thats its fairly easy to catch barra off the bank, but what sort of size are they?

lures, baits, locations, reports would all be greatfully appreciated.......

    Thanks in advance....

p.s. does anybody know where to catch sleepy cod in teemburra as i would like one for my fish tank

    Hi Bobby

    Bummer about your ride

Start around the boat ramp area, there are heaps to be found left and right of the ramp. I would suggest the bays below the picnic area and then if your keen enough the bays and points towards the dam wall.

With the slightly higher water levels there is plenty of submerged weedbeds so I would go with shallow divers, poppers or even unweighted rubbertails, they all should do the job. Average size at the moment would be around 650-750mm.

Kinchant Dam would be my pick for a Sleepy Cod

    All the best
