i've got a few, mostly the smaller sizes. in the avacado colour, blue and purple. I've cought more bass on these than on normal spinners......they do work but i think its more what the fish will take on the day! keep some in the tackle box definatley.
If you use the small to medium in a gold blade , we have had plenty of success on Bass, and Barra have also swallowed them but have not returned them due to our line class of 4 and 6 lb .
I'ved walked past them many times in the tackle shop but have decided their very similar to using a betts spinner with a soft plastic attached.
Cheaper too as the betts are about 8 bucks for a bag of three.
They would have a very similar action to a squidgee spinner.

Nailed a dirty great catfish on a gold-bladed one during the Kirkleigh Classic. Squiz has had a lot more luck on the Betts, and as previously discussed, you can three of them for the price of one spinnerbait!

what is a betts? are they just a normal spinnerbait?
Bobby
Betts are Beetlespins. Basically, Come in two colors, silver and gold, and come in at least two different sizes. It looks like half a spinnerbait. Has a blade at one end, and a clip on the other. You attach your own soft platstic to the clip by the jig head, and then you're ready to take 'em on!

I've used a small coloured one, bit like a Redfin. I did real well at Clarrie Hall last year 'til I lost it. I like the little rubber band idea as well.

I fish because the little voices in my head tell me to
