where to catch livies in moreton bay

when i go fishing i always have to use dead baits and i have heard that livies have a better success rate for bigger fish. i do alot of fishing around mud, harry's and peel. so if anyone no places i can pick up some slimey mackeral or yakkas without having to travel out to moreton or very far away that would be great.

You wont get to many freshwater fishos giving you info on the bay

That aside, around the beacons is usually a good place to start.
