Fished the main basin and just north of Hayes from 11-5. Scored 12 bass, mate got 7 and my brother got 4. All ranging from littlies to 50+. Quite a few missed strikes aswell... the fish would peel line off and then just jump off. Most fish were caught in a 1.5hr period at the end of the day... which was good fun
Over the last few trips we have found how valuable a sounder is. My brother was in his own canoe without a sounder and hasn't done as well on previous trips either.
All our fish that day were trolled. Mate likes to troll and since we were doing ok he didn't want to try something different. Still trying to get him to see the light [smiley=argue.gif]. He doesn't usually catch too many so let him have his fun.
