lake awoonga guided barra fishing charters

    hello everyone,
This is the 2nd time i've visited this site, just looking for feedback and any comments reguarding lake awoonga guided barra fishing charters. i am starting a guiding service on lake awoonga from late august this year. i have my own views on the fishery, but was looking for outside opinions from the remainder of the general public on this new venture. i'm local to gladstone and lake awoonga, and i have followed the stocking programme since its beginning almost 10 years ago. any comments, ideas, opinions or any positive criticism would be greatly appreciated!

Good Luck on your venture as I am doing the same at Lake Monduran for the past 3 years, and was at Lake Awoonga, if you want to go to my website www.stillwatercharters.com.au and send me an e-mail and I will let you know a few things.

there was a fellow doing charters there a few years back, he manged to get a couple of blokes from tamworth a 22+kg barra, it was the record at the time, he was $200 a day for his boat, he seemed to be doing alright don't see why you won't be able to make a go of it

    Hello again,
Sorry for not responding to those people who kindly replied to my first posting. I have been away fishing for 4 days, and I will endeavour to reply, phone, or e-mail those who made contact. That man that began guiding on Lake Awoonga several years ago, Wayne Jenkinson, a very knowledgeable and switched on barra fisherman is a friend of mine and it is his boat that I have purchased and will be using to work from. Thanks again for responding.
