    Wivenhoe 12jul05

    Hi All,

Went out this morning before my night shift to have another go at some bass in my kayak. Managed a nice fat Bass on a Luckycraft LV300 casting around some dropoffs . The bass was 50cm to the fork and had some weight in her. Got another smaller bass on a Jackall mask casting to an edge that was 38cm long .

All in all a great morning well spent, the wind gods were good with a light NE blowing. Here is a pic of the big bass coming along side the kayak

    Cheers

    Hi Jamie,

Got the camera to sit on the sounder screen and use the timer. It got a bit overcast but the flash didnt help with some of the pics today and were under exsposed. Its was hard to hold the big bass and take the pic, I didnt want to hang him by the mouth.

    Cheers

The flash can suck the colour out of a fish. It makes 'toga look insipid, but on a day like today you have to use it to fill the shadows.
