Winter Barra Monduran

Was told to take a couple of hours off today by the boss [Jacky]and take her fishing. Headed up the Lake just passed the first island and waisted an hour casting for nothing. Decided to find a bay with a bit warmer temp the warmest we could find was 22 so pulled the boat to shore and started casting gold B52s. Bugger me, the third cast I hooked a little Barra around 40cm not big but still a barra . Just released that one and cast out and Jacky hooked up to a better fish. while she was fighting her barra I got hit, double hook up in July unbelievable. Total for a couple of hours on the water was 4 around the 80cm, the little one and another 4 lost.

Hey fellas bloody Jacky made me take her fishing again this afternoon 30 knot southeastly, overcast and water temp only 18 degrees. 2 hours we had landed 3 barra again around the 75-80cm and lost 4 about the same size. These barra are getting harder to work out than women?????????

Good Work... Team ...Try some SPs just to see if the hook up rate is better....Been Fishing at Winfield catching Flaties on SPs .....But there is nothing like the buzz barra give you ..Think l got the barra fever

Was good to meet you Foxie. Nice dam you have there. Pity the fish wouldn't come out to play for me, but that's what keeps us going back. First time I've warn gloves and a beanie, Barra fishin'!!!!

hey boys and girls has anyone tryed soft plastics up there at monduran becasue i was up there last year and we watching a bloke catch barra after barra on platics so i was wondering if anyone else has done any good cheers matt woods
