How many Bass did you catch???

Hi all,

Took a mate fishing the other day and also went yesterday by myself and what a day. On saturday as you know the weather was average, however still managed aroun 50 Bass between us both and yesterday the weather was great and lost count when I caught 50 Bass (honest)

All averaged betwen the 35-42cm mark and caught on fly, plastics and casted Jackals to the bank. Most of the fish where held up in the small bays where their was a steep/deep creek. These inlets or re-entrants where around 7m deep and the Bass held up between 3.5m to the bottom.

Overall had a great day.

i'v had a couple of days like that (and i mean only a couple) where it seemed to not matter what you cast they were all just in the mood and you had more than once where ever cast seemed to be another fish
i find on these two time that most of my fish were around that 25cm mark however with more than a few 35-45cm ones in the day

these are the days i dream of and hope for but on average on our little rivers i find we catch around 10 fish a session

By the colour of the water Wooly, I'm guessing Maroon. It's been going off lately.

Geez that water looks very green! Any idea what the water levels are like @ maroon Dale?

Haven't fished it for a while, but my Brother and Nephew have been gettin' a few. The ramp is still in the water, just!!! Plenty of bass around the banks, some good fish amongst them. We haven't seen a run of big fish like this there since the dam was full.

1337 maroon dam is at 20% about 8000ML DID ALRITE THERE MYSELF GOT A FEWW BUT NOT AS MANY AS WOOLYBUGER ONLY GOT 4 BASS COUPLE OF YELLAS AND THAT BREUTIFUL MARY RIVER COD (OF COURES ALL FISH WERE REALESED CEPT FOR THE FIRST YELLA I COULDENT RESIST I HAD TO HAVE IT HAVENT HAD ONE FOR A WHILE) JUST HAD IT FOR DINNER AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS QUIT NICE SERVED UP WITH SOME SALAD AND A SIDE OF CHIPS MMMMMMMMMM
BUT ANYWAY MAY HAVE HAD A BIT MORE LUK IF I TOOK MY BOAT BUT THE MOTOR WAS GETING FIXED STILL HAD A GREAT DAY THOUGH

thats one big effort. my best has been 15 off the bank at maroon. i fish there alot, me and my mate. have cought a 45 cm bass but no luck on any other fish would be intrested on how to catch other kinds of fish.
