I'd drive to Lumley Hill camp ground, take the Logan Inlet turnoff a couple of k's past the wall on the Esk Road. Then walk around the edge towards the main part of the dam. Chuck bif Spinnerbaits. Have fun!!!

As aussiebaser said re directions. Keep walking around away from the camping grounds towards the main basin. There is a strretch of cliffs that drops into 25-45ft deep of the cliffs. When i say cliff it is about 3-4meter drop from edge to the water.
Again as Aussiebasser said "use spinnerbaits" as there is submerged timber that will steal lures from you.
Also a lipless crankbait will help you fish more water faster but you will also catch more catties.
