Zedjack33, nope not from around Big Bend.

The fish in the pic was 106cm and around 60lb but I do have pics of cod around 85cm from over here and they are quite yellow with a tint of green and grey.

Drawn... looks like its been pigging out on Carp... Far out that is a fat fish
Have seen Impoundment Cod of 116 cm @ 64 lb."male fish"
And one from same pond 106 cm @ 44 lb. " male fish"
Must be a food supply thing... Plenty of it
This same water has some real big girls in it of around 160cm...
Must be up around the 120 lb plus mark ? Know not how we are ever going to get one up beside the boat for more than a look .

    Cheers Les.

There are definately some big ones around. The best fish I've actually seen was caught from my boat by a mate, it was 126cm and about 80lb.
A bloke I know has caught one 150cm but I've also seen pics of a 99cm cod that weighed 100lb - now that fish was fat, as I've caught one 99cm that weighed around 50lb.

re-landing big fish, it can be luck too, a mate has been bricked 3 times in the area I caught that cod but I hooked one half an hour before it at least the same size and it swam straight out into the open only to have the lure come out as it rolled on the surface. Then a little further along I hooked the one in the pic which also slammed the lure and swam into open water, making it relatively easy to catch.

you need to open the pics in PAINT then go to IMAGE on the top of the screen then go to STRETCH/SKEW and change the HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL to 20% then SAVE AS to MY DOCUMANTS.

then when posting pics just go to BROWSE... and then go to were you saved it . any probs just message me.
