great photo ,good front page shot barra bass cheers.

I'll reply again,
Nice fish!!
Here's a tip if you are interested.....when you hold a barra for a pic, moments before the shutter releases, just give the barra a short, quick, sharp( but gentle) bounce. This makes the barra's dorsal spikes and other fin's stand erect and makes your fish look more alive. It generates vivacity and expression into your photograph!
Great fish,
Cheers again.

THANKS FOR THE TIP WITH PHOTOS JOHN.THIS FISH GAVE PLENTY BEFORE I GOT HER TO THE BOAT AND SHE WAS TOTALLY KNACKERED,IT TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO REVIVE HER TO A POINT WHERE I WAS HAPPY TO RELEASE HER. ANOTHER QUESTION ON PHOTOGRAPHY, WHEN TAKING YOUR PHOTOS ARE YOU TAKING THEM AT A HIGH QUALITY SETTING ON YOUR CAMERAS AND THEN RESIZING THEM LATER TO GET UNDER THE 100KB, OR TAKING AT A LOWER QUALITY SETTING?
CHEERS,
BRAD.
Dave, Top fish mate Cant seem to master the art of taking my own photos.. But the settings are on high then l use the program called inferan... If you look under help you will see a bit about resizing and using that program... easy as....Cheers Trevor

Thanks Brad,
Nice to see you caught fish again today! Great to see you try the jiggle method. Seems you have mastered it already. Always use high resolution to take your pics. You can re-size them after to be less than 100 kb. You never know when you might make, and take that great pic that you want blown up for framing. Use highest resolution at all times. Use a film camera, 100 speed if you really want a large poster size print for the wall. 100 speed film, (the negative) is equivallent to about 12 megapixel. Most standard digitals can't compete. ie. 4 or 5 megapixel.
Best of Luck
Johnny
Some nice fish there. Looks like most of them have been taken during the day. Any catches at night to report fellas. I get up there on the 16 Oct for the secomd time and we seemed to have some good results fishing at night with the moon out in full force. Also any reports on red claw up there.
