    Shore based Awoonga

Heading up to Awoonga on the 14th October, and was going to pack enough food and gear for 3 days and head out on a little walking adventure.
Is this a viable option, or am I better off trying to hire a tinny? I would be looking to cover approximately 15-20kms a day on foot with a pack.

    Matt,
The foot option is a no go as the land surrounding the lake is privately owned and/or leased for cattle grazing. Camping etc is restricted to camp grounds at certain locations only. Boat is the only legal option unless you have prior permission from the owner, the leesee or the leesor.
