Monduran Bycatch

Went up to Monduran on Sunday to see what the barra scene was up to and was not disappointed being able to raise fish at most of my local haunts. Catching four to 80cm then decided to have a troll around some of the headlands to have a break from casting. At one particular headland I had a small bump on the Classic Barra lure and tried trolling over the area again and once again had a small bump so I stopped and had a couple of casts. On the second cast I hooked up to this Silver Perch (biggest ever for me). These fish don't normally attack lures once thay have grown to more than a kilo but if all the bumps that I got were from silvers then they must be hungry at the moment.

Codcatcher went 41cm and weighed in at 2.15kg
