Brizzie River Bass

2 good size bass caught on hand made lures from my club. The fish were caught at collages crossing late afternoon, they measured 42cm and 40cm

Did you pick them up around johnsons rock. also were you using (fysshe lures)?

Now is the time you can get some really good Tarpon as well, I used to troll very small white SP's that looked like maggots, trolling as close to the bank as possible got most of the fish. For over 15 years I lived within 4 houses away from the river just upstream from Johnsons rock. It's funny but I think fished that part of the river more when I didn't live there.
