Information required

I am new to the area and have just bought a 4.6 stacer with 50hp. I am looking to fish the pumistone passage and moreton bay area. Can anyone give me some advice on some spots to try and tecniques. Also if i was heading out into the bay what sort of weather is the best to be heading out in and what is the weather that I just keep the boat at home.
Any advice would be great.

G'day mate, we've just bought a 4.60 m Ally Craft Bay Raider with a 50HP Yamaha, and we're pretty much in the same boat as you as it's our first boat. Any advice on weather and conditions to look out for would be much appreciated.

You could also have a look at the Beacon to Beacon directory, Qld fising & boating monthly and Bush N beach.

Your local newsagent will probably have all three.

You might also want to consider joining a fishing club.
