I have been participating in this chat board for a few months now and have seen nothing mentioned about this dam. I am thinking of visiting there on my way back from FNQ in June and would appreciate the ducks guts on fishing and camping there.
'Rebelone' - my mate has gone there before and has pulled out some f'ing big bream and some giant catfish. Ive heard stories from some of the locals about Burdekin, and they could tell me that Barra numbers are rather small in the dam, but when you land one apparently they are screamers, so Im hoping to go down and give it a shot these holidays actually, so i might see ya there .
