thinkin of heading up that way this weekend. just wandering if anyone has fished them lately. herd a report from wuruma last week and they got a few barra. also are they being caught in the main basin or in the shallows.

Wuruma only has a main basin now as its down to the river.... 1% level and only a few Km's long. it will loose water temp quick.... not hard to find the fish ya would not think? I fished it a little while back and got a few ..... Will not fish it again til it gets a lot more water in it...... If they don't get some water influx soon.... there may be alot of dead Barra & Bas etc..... the freezer brigade have been given it a good flogging lately.... I don't think the fisheries know where it is ?? Monduran is fishing well from what i've been told.

I'm heading to Monduran this weekend Bakes. Reports I've heard and read have sounded good. My 1st time there, and I know it's a big chunk of water, so any help from other ausfishers would be appreciated. I'm planning to hit the shallow, timbered bays and cast bomber style lures around. Days have still been warm, so should be some warmer water to be found in the arvo's, hopefully with some fish lurking. Probably only get a couple of fishing sessions in, so if anyone can point me towards some productive areas, that'd be great as I won't have much time to really explore.
