Off to hit sommerset this weekend and was really keen to hear any reports and where what with and when.Thanks

how are you mate,have been up there a couple of times in the last month and it has ben very hard work,the fish are starting to school up down the spit end ,but getting them to fire up is a different thing,my advise is to find a school and stick with them as they do come on in spirts and they are usually good fish.we got a few on ice jigs ,natural colored spinnerbaits and soft ayu jackalls.good luck cheers AL

Heard reports from family that the Pelican Point/Wyangai Creek area is running hot at the moment. Lets hope the water level in Sommerset picks up, cant see it doing so for quite awile .
