Re: How to catch Dredded Carp
Since it's the kids, why not breed up some gents? Work well as bait, and you get the added benefit of the "EWWWWWWW" factor whenever the girls need to bait 'em up.

Re: How to catch Dredded Carp
Anyone from Sydney, sneak into Centennial park at first light, go to the center of the park where the canteen is. Use creamed corn for burley and three or four kernels on small hooks. Use 1 kg line. You will have great sport, and probably land 1 out of 4 fish. They go straight for the lilly pads about 15 meters away, If you can stop their first run you will land them....Pretty decent sized fish around the 5-7 kg mark....4years ago anyway. once I burleyed it took around 10mins for the fish to arrive. BTW Not supposed to fish there. Sean

Re: How to catch Dredded Carp
I'm not sure if this happens in every state, but in sth oz its illegal to throw them back after you catch them.
All they're good for is target practice or set your scope up on your rifle
