I am after a dam where I can camp and that is good fishing in a boat and from the bank. As this is the second time in fresh i'm not the best and it takes a bit to get a fish. I live in brisbane and don't want to drive over 3 or 4 hours.
Leslie and Moogerah fit your bill, but both are low on water, means a bank boat launch, although plenty are doing it.
Coolmunda is getting close to your lower 3 hour limit, camping is not on the dam, but very close (within 500m), which is as close as you'll get on the others anyway due to the low water levels!
Glenlyon is getting close to your 4 hour upper limit, but has reasonable water, and is much more interesting, being in quite hilly country.
fish either moogerah or maroon there great dams and you can camp and fish right on the water at moogerah. hinze dam down the goldy is also worth a try.hope this helps . cheers bdowdy
