I'm fired up enough already... will certainly be taking a camera. I've fished for Barra before, when I lived in PNG. Fishing was exceptional, but never came close to 1m+ Barra myself. I do recall seeing an absolute monster in Dads chest freezer once though, which was a big freezer. Awoonga, even if it doesnt produce a fish.. ( Icertainly hope it does) has reignited the primal instinct, to hunt and gather, and with that instinct, my preference is to FISH !!! It's something that runs in the family and even better that I'm going tobe fishing with my Father and my Brother. Poor bugger moved to sydney with work 2 yrs ago..(Brother) will be good to show him what else about QLD he is missing... there are plenty of TUGGERS in sydney, but I'll bet none pull as Hard as a metre plus Barra in the sticks...
