I've never fished hinze dam. Well u have to catch your own shrimp for starters. Now i'm guessing u have the rite traps shrimp traps wit the fine mesh. Now i use little tins of cat food for redclaw and especially shrimp. I have a boat and i set mine near dead trees and the weedbed. I tie mine onto the dead trees and set mine rite on the edge of the weedbed. I'm not sure if theres dead trees at hinze u will have to find out. I dont use floats because people lift them and i get pissed off. Make sure u remember the trees u tied them onto. Your probaly better to mark them some how. I'm not sure about the fishing there sorry.

    Hope this has helped

On the points in about 25 to 30 foot of water. If you dont have a sounder, tie some knots in your anchor line at 20 25 and 30 foot, then use that to tell what depth of water your sitting in.

We went out on a guide for a few hours a few weeks back. If you get to the boat ramp and head right. There's a few arms on the side opposite to the ramp. About 10m out from them is where we were nailing a few.
