I found this page off the Imakatsu site. Thought you people might like to take a look. Its all in japanese but you just click on the links to watch the movies. From what I can gather, all the fishing is done in Japan but all the fish targeted are large mouth Bass which are native to north america.
Anyway, its worth a look. Particularly the videos on the Javallons if you can find them - look down towards the bottom of the page.
