Bass flies and sp colours
Hi guys,
i'm new to the freshwater stuff and i was after some info on the best flies to use and what soft platsics and colours to use?
I'm headed to maroon dam in a few weeks so i want to get set up. I have caught fish on bait up there but want to give the artificial stuff a go.
The fly gear will be only early morn and dusk when they are chasing the bugs and the sp's rest of the day, maybe in morn if fly rod and me are not getting along to well.
Thanks for any help.

how are you mate,i use bass vampires in purple and black, black and red and also green and they all work in different situations any of the small fly poppers are great on the early morning and evenings sessions, the slider range of plastics are a good safe start for these fish.good luck you will have lots of fun.

Thanks for that warrior, i'm as keen as mustard to get out there and with the right gear i'll have a better chance of catching a couple. I've seen the bass popping the surface early morning so hopefully i can get one to take my fly.
