    nuggstar, looks like no one has discovered these, that's great as it means more catch and release for you and I.

    I've found them deadly here in the upper reaches of a north coast NSW river. I use the green and gold 2" ones (I believe the smaller 1.5 inch ones are good for bream) and find most times a steady retrieve is all that is needed although the usual bass style stop and start works well too. Half the time here the bass seem to hit it as it hits the water, particularly if the drop zone is under an overhanging tree.
    Another lure I have that is deadly is this obscenely coloured small black and purple "thing", bought in a Taree fishing shop for me as a present, not sure of the maker but I think it is a Taylormade lure. More teeth marks on it than our dog's favourite bone.
