Awoonga christmnas fishing

Have the opportunity for 4 days at Awoonga from 27th December. Any infor re current fish situation, tackle requirements and locations would be gratefully appreciated.

mate you will have to fight the taffic on the dam but there will be plenty of info for you at the park and from fellow fishos who have been on the water,

for the open dam - deep lures IE halco crazy deep (8m plus), and maybe a downrigger on top of that.

For the edges - Not a lot of timber still in the water, but lots of weed about 1m or so under the surface, lures to suite, or plastics rigged texas style (tip of hook still just on plastic, so no weed catches)

location - have a yarn with the rangers / local bait shop when you get there
