Ingredients:
4 cleaned cuttlefish bodies
1 large onion
1/2 cup bacon pieces
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 chicken stock cube
Lemon pepper
1/2 cup fine breadcrumbs
2 eggs
Plain flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* Using old fashioned hand mincer, mince cuttlefish and onion.
* Place in large mixing bowl, and mix all ingreients together, and shape into flat burgers
* Shallow fry until golden brown.
yeah plenty if big Cuttle fish down south , they are a real pest to clean, sort of like a squid but with a bucket of ink, pretty good on the plate though, in fact I kinda like them better than squid , and from one you get enough to feed an Army (almost)
yeah love cuttlefish,cut hood lenghways about 2" wide then slice each length across at fine angle (like sushimi )into small pieces and the same with tentacles,hot frypan ,garlic,chilli,20seconds then into salad or with a fork,must cook quick or you will be eating your favorite retread
