    smoked tailor breakfast

ive also done this with the supermarket smoke salmon, but it far better with smoked tailor.

melt some butter in a non-stick pan over low heat
add about a teaspoon of chopped capers
at the same time have water ready to poach an egg
add the fish to the pan, heat should be as low as possible, only want to warm the fish
    start poaching the perfect egg
toast a slice of thick bread
lay some rocket on the toast, top with fish, egg and pour any of the butter/caper mix over the top
load up the egg with cracked pepper and make sure u break it just before u eat so the yolk runs over the fish and combines with the butter to make a rich sauce

    yum

Now that sounds like a top brekky.

I reckon Tailor are the perfect brekky fish.

I like em grilled and basted with a mix of olive oil, ginger, garlic and soy.................served with fresh crusty bread and a long black with a dash of milk. Might try the poached eggs with that number.............the mind boggles and the tummy rumbles [smiley=chef.gif]

    cheers

Now thats one i havent heard b4. Sounds ok though
Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. But ,flogging him into submission will result in him taking up crabbing.... and once he gets a taste of that sh*t, well, he may never return again.

nice ,like eggs benedictin with salmon, I always add a teaspoon of white
vinegar to the water before poaching ,have the water at a simmer and use a whisk
to cause a whirpool effect then quickly add the egg ,watch the white wrap around the yolk like a half decent backlash lol.
