    Mustad Hooks Snapping

Anyone had problems with these snapping. I've had too many snap at the curve in the shank out of to many different packets to think it's a one off but only in the suicide patterns.

Should be a rare occurance Luke not many break to the amount sold...

Luke the only way you will stop this from happening is dont use them just throw lures

    Trav,
seems to be in the cheapest of the mustads(not chemically sharpened or anything) and only in the smaller gauges I've had problems like 1/0 and 2/0 because we use the bigger hooks on deep sea trips and have had no problems. Too true with the lures mate, bait costs more these days anyway.
