    NEW DAIWA 2002 SALTIGA Rod & Reel Combo!

    Daiwa Saltiga Coastal 2 Piece Spinning 6"3' Model:63S-3, butt break down to 1.4m

    Daiwa Saltiga Z4500 spinning reel, totally waterproof.

    Has anyone any experience with these products. Is it worth $2,300 for the combo?

    The video promo was certainly impressive!

    $2300 are you serious. it had want to do more than just catch fish at that price.
    i nearly got beaten by the other half for my latest effort. $250 for a new fly rod. i am still getting the guilt trip.

    do a serch on fishnet for 'saltiga' as some guy there has the combo, i know the reel itself is around 1200 but i can't see the rod cost 1000 as well

    I saw the video - amazing!

    The saltiga would have to be close to the best saltwater high speed jigging outfit available. If I had the spare change, I'd get one.
