seems from the boards other guys are having problems rail mounting berkley rod holders at a sensible price. Here's a source for stainless u-bolts, right price, good service & worth keeping in mind for all your boat/trailer's stainless needs.

For Berkley rod holders the part description for a marine grade stainless u-bolt for mounting on standard 25mm rail is
1/4" x 3/4" G316 U-Bolts
Price $7.26 each with nuts (including GST).
I paid $29.05 total to fit up two rod holders. I think that price is reasonable compared to other options.
At most chandlery shops these bolts were $12-$14 each (admittedly in polished stainless & slightly longer which would require cutting back).
