Bead attractants
Gday, I'm trying different ways of presenting my bait and saw some bead and plastic tubing in the shop the other day. Is there someone that is familiar with the use and could suggest rig set-ups for me to try. Much appreciated, catchya John.

Re: Bead attractants
G'day mate i find that the red tubing cut into about 4 or 5 cm lengths and snooded onto the hook definately improves the catch in creeks and rivers and it also helps avoid bite offs from bigger fish. Don't know about offshore but its a matter of opinoin i suppose ???
Cheers, Lachie

Re: Bead attractants
When fishing offshore and using a floater rig, I always have a fluro bead above the hooks and before the sinker. This acts as an attractant and also as a stopper to prevent the sinker from pounding the crap out of the knot.
Cheers, Clutter.

Re: Bead attractants
I was checking out Heath's site and decided to get me some of those Lumo sinkers he uses when chasing cobia - they give you the weight and the attractant all in one. Lumo seems to make sense to me given the low light in deeper water.
Now all I have to do is get out there to give them a try!
Cheers
Steve.
