Which reel?

My wife wants a new reel.

She generally fishes with a 2-4.5kg Ugly Stick.

Thos is a great rod and she has caught fish up to 20kg on it but the small DAM reel has finally given up the ghost.

What I want to get her is a 2500 series reel with infinite anti reverse that I can spool with 150 to 200 mts of 30lb braid.

And I dont want to spend too much...about $100 plus the line.

have a look at the daiwa kastor got one about 6mths ago for sooties and small barra its good for a cheapie about $100

is that a baitcaster of a threadline reel i am looking for a baitcasterthat can be spooled with up to 20lb line and i dont wont to pay anything over $140 for the rod and reel

Krazeyfisher, have you been having much luck locally?

Me being the slacker that I am still haven't dropped you a line to set up an outing. I have got a trailer now for the v nose so that makes us a little more mobile. We picked up a few sweetlip and flatties up at Hillsborough last weekend. The fish went off the bite as soon as the tide stopped coming in.
