hahah i new george would reply to that one i love my TSS4 though...... need to be balanced a bit better like the baitrunners have been.
Taking my TSS4 out for it's maiden Voyage this weekend, wiil comment on it's performance after the event.
Lookout you Hervey Bay Mack's 8) 8) here I come !!!
Cheers
Craigie.
heard someone connected a drill to a tss4 once, on high speed it was the fastest reel around
Heard that to rob, only trubs was the length of the extension cord
Tss4 with graphite/teflon drag washers, will stop a humpback.
Some of the reel method above, you'd need a weeks salary and some to pay for them.
Only every used tss 4, so cannot comment on the others.

hahaha. ahhh long extension cord. thats pure gold brian
love the tss4 tough enogh to handle the nocks smoth enogh to handle the hard fish and crank fast enogh and it is a bloody fast reel

bought a brand new TSS4 and Silstar 701SWH crystal powertip havent scored any mackies yet but it stalls out 2m sharks in the bay no problem at all....... fast retrive is also good for skipen grassies and squire accross the surface straight into the boat gotta watch that second hook though. more than happy with it.
you will not get a better reel for your dollar than a TSS4.
I have 2 of which i found 1 in second hand shop for $10 was full of sand 1hour of my time and $89 in new parts great second hand reel.
the brand new 1 cost me $189.
the guys up the top end swear by them for the big GT's
then it realy gets ughly
