    Help with rod choice please

    G'day fellas
I'm looking for a rod to use on squire in Moreton bay. Also for tailor in Moreton Bay, in season. I fish with bait.
To be used with a threadline reel.
I'd like it to be about 9feet long (what's that, about 2.7 metres I think) and with a fairly soft action.
Any suggestions or alternatives from the guys in the know would be appreciated.

Penn Powerstick Plus 2pc General Purpose 9' Rod PSP9002GP
    About $110.00
    Line Class: 5-10kg
    Pieces: 2
    Length: 9ft
This rod might be worth looking at. All the components are Fuji and the build quality is great

One rod that may suit your purpose, although a little shorter than you are talking about is the live fibre-rlf20
Its an 8 foot, 8-10kg spin rod. Reasonably light in the tip, but plenty of guts in the bottom when you load up.
They also make this one in a 10 foot 8-10kg spin.
I know a few other blokes on this site use them, maybe one of them could give you a report on them as well.

    Regards, Tony
