This May be a New Chapter

I work a life where i spend more time planning and dreaming of being on the water compared to actually being on it. I'm sure this is extremely common complaint. and the extra doe we earn being busy does mean we can waste it on more/ bigger toys.
For me, fishing is an adult passion. This doesn't mean that I fish naked or anything, I mean that I only learnt and got addicted to fishing, later in life as an adult. everything I know is because of google, fishing magazines and The Fishing DVD series. Not having a dad or family member teaching me the old secrets I feel has set me back a fair bit. and at this stage it is extremely had to ask questions or forums for help.
All my fishing up until the last 4 months has been river fishing either land based or boat/kayak. This was a learning experience that seemed easy enough with the media on hand. I would have to say that the ratio of water to fish is much in favour to the angler compared to bay or open water.
On that note this is the new chapter of my fishing past time. Now with a young family, and moving to Brisbane far from my little quiet creeks and rivers around Bundaberg. I have opted for a 6M cabin boat. BAR CRUSHER 615C to be exact. and this is where my troubles have started. With my limited time that i now get to spend on the water I am finding the ratio vastly favours our piscatorial prey. So Far all i have mastered in my 5 outings is locating bait, watching dolphins, whales, and turtles. Moreton bay is a really nice place when you are on the water.
thats it for now
cheers
