Have recently purchased a boat but are having some trouble with the engine, starts fine runs well but 5 minutes out in the water and the alarm comes on and it derates itself, can someone help ,me pin point the problem,

I live in mandurah so if anyone knows of a mobile boat mechanic that might be able to help would be good also
